Why join CRX
CRX is a Croydon-based business networking group that focuses on the key areas: business referrals, sharing expertise and collaboration.
We are run by the members, so are not beholden to large profit-driven networking groups. We encourage weekly attendance, but do not make it mandatory.
We work on the principle that the more you put in, the more you get out. Visit us to see how we work and what we can do for your business.
Venue: London Aerodrome Hotel
We meet at the London Aerodrome Hotel in the Spitfire Room, 680 Purley Way CR9 4LT Croydon. A cooked or continental buffet breakfast is included for fully paid-up members. Please let us know by the Thursday before so that we can agree food quantities and avoid waste.
There are good public transport links (bus and train stops nearby) and public car parking.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome to join up to two of our regular meetings at no charge, but we are one member per type of business, so please check first that your business does not clash with one of our existing members.
Please email us at and we’ll send you joining instructions.
Meeting time
Gather from 7:30am and get your breakfast for the meeting, which will start promptly at 8am with one minute presentations.
Check the CRX email newsletter, or this website regularly for updates.

Biz Comm 2026
Wonderful to see so much support for our charity member, The Chartwell Cancer Trust/Children’s Cancer Trust – represented each week by the fabulous Jo Bennett.
Biz Comm, held at Crystal Palace Football Club was a wonderful evening, bringing together the local business community to support local charities and build their networks, connections and knowledge in the process.
Ben Holmes from the local WPA Healthcare Practice was a headline sponsor of the event, and spoke about the importance of protecting our most vital asset – our health.
Ally Whitlock Photography offered professional headshots to delegates and local Croydon charity Lives Not Knives was one of the charities that benefited from the funds raised. Trustee and CRX member Monica Beckles of Inside Advantage spoke movingly on the work they do with young people in the borough.
One of the highlights of the evening was Jo’s demonstration of the AI No Isolation robots provided by the charity and their sponsors to children undergoing cancer treatment.
Whilst a child or young person is away from school, these robots take their place – being their eyes, ears and voice in the classroom – providing a vital lifeline and keeping them in touch with their classwork and their friends.
Ben said ‘Sponsoring one of these robots is such a small outlay to make such a massive difference to a child or young person undergoing cancer treatment and I thoroughly recommend having a chat with Jo to see if you might be able to help.

Congratulations, Don
Update: A big congratulations to Don who completed the Brighton Marathon last weekend. He fundraised over £7,500 for The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust.
